Deep Cleanse Scalp Scrub | Rosemary & Mint

£24.99

A clean scalp is the foundation of healthy hair — and most shampoos only clean the hair, not the scalp itself. This Deep Cleanse Scalp Scrub uses natural exfoliants, Rosemary Oil and Peppermint to lift weeks of product build-up, excess sebum and dead skin cells that regular washing leaves behind. The result is a genuinely refreshed, rebalanced scalp that holds fragrance longer, absorbs treatments better and creates the right environment for stronger, healthier-looking hair. 170ml / 350g. ECOCERT COSMOS Natural certified — 99% natural origin.

  • Deep scalp cleanse — natural exfoliants dissolve product build-up, excess sebum and dead skin cells for a truly clean scalp regular shampoo can't achieve
  • Reduces dandruff — rebalances the scalp environment to reduce flaking, itching and irritation at the source
  • Stimulates circulation — Rosemary Oil encourages blood flow to hair follicles for a healthy, growth-friendly environment
  • Instant freshness — Peppermint delivers an invigorating tingle that energises and soothes simultaneously from the first application
  • Healthy hair foundation — a clean, balanced scalp is the first step to stronger, shinier, fuller-looking hair; suitable for all scalp types
  • Step 1: Apply to wet hair and scalp before shampooing
  • Step 2: Massage gently in circular motions for 2–3 minutes, focusing on the scalp — not the lengths of the hair
  • Step 3: Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition as normal
  • Frequency: Use 1–2 times per week; suitable for all scalp types

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I use a scalp scrub?
1–2 times per week is the sweet spot for most scalp types. If you have an oily scalp with significant build-up from dry shampoo or styling products, twice weekly is ideal. If your scalp is on the drier side, once a week is enough to keep it clear without over-stripping. Always follow with your regular shampoo and conditioner after scrubbing.
Will it help with dandruff?
Yes — physical exfoliation lifts the flakes that cause visible dandruff, while Rosemary and Peppermint help rebalance the scalp environment. For mild to moderate dandruff caused by product build-up and dry scalp, regular use of this scrub makes a meaningful difference. For persistent dandruff that doesn't respond to regular care, a medicated shampoo containing zinc pyrithione or ketoconazole may be needed alongside — consult your GP or dermatologist.
Can I use it on colour-treated hair?
Yes — the scrub targets the scalp, not the hair lengths, so it does not directly affect colour. However, any scalp cleansing done in the week immediately after colouring can accelerate colour fade slightly. Wait at least 5–7 days after colouring before using the scrub. After that, regular use is fine and can actually help colour-treated hair look better by keeping the scalp clean and uncongested.
Can I use it before applying a scalp serum or treatment?
Yes — and this is one of the best ways to use it. Exfoliating the scalp first removes the barrier of dead cells and product build-up that blocks serum absorption. A scalp serum applied to a freshly exfoliated scalp penetrates significantly more effectively than on an uncleaned one. Apply the scrub, shampoo and condition as normal, then apply your scalp treatment to the clean, towel-dried scalp.
