Intensive Body Cream | 5% Urea & Panthenol

£24.99

Urea is one of dermatology's most effective dry skin ingredients — a compound the skin produces naturally that both hydrates and exfoliates at the same time. At 5%, it's the clinically effective concentration for tackling rough patches, dry elbows, heels and legs without irritation. This Intensive Body Cream pairs it with 2% Panthenol for repair and Hyaluronic Acid for volume — going beyond surface moisture to genuinely restore softness where the skin needs it most. 280ml / 280g / 9.88 oz.

  • 5% Urea — a natural humectant that draws moisture deep into the skin while gently dissolving rough, flaky texture; clinically proven concentration for dry skin
  • 2% Panthenol (Vitamin B5) — soothes irritation, accelerates skin repair and locks in lasting hydration
  • Hyaluronic Acid — delivers an instant surge of moisture and plumps the skin's surface for a visibly smoother feel
  • Sodium PCA — a natural skin-identical moisturising factor that prevents water loss throughout the day
  • Non-greasy, fast-absorbing texture — comfortable for daily use even under clothing; no residue
  • Suitable for all skin types including very dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin; dermatologically tested
  • Step 1: Apply to clean, dry skin once or twice daily
  • Step 2: Focus on rough areas — elbows, knees, heels, shins and hands
  • Step 3: Massage in using circular motions until fully absorbed
  • Tip: For best results on very dry or cracked skin, apply at night and allow to work overnight; the Urea and Panthenol do their most effective repair work when skin is at rest

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Urea actually do in a body cream?
Urea is a natural moisturising factor that skin produces on its own — it both attracts water into the skin (humectant) and gently loosens the bonds between dead skin cells (keratolytic). At 5%, it is effective enough to tackle genuinely rough, thickened skin on heels and elbows without being irritating. Higher concentrations (10–40%) are used in clinical settings for very thick skin conditions; 5% is the sweet spot for daily body moisturisation on dry to very dry skin.
Can I use this on my face?
This is formulated for the body. While Urea is used in some facial products, the concentration and supporting ingredient blend here are designed for the thicker skin of the body. For the face, look for a dedicated facial moisturiser. This works particularly well on elbows, knees, shins, heels and hands — areas where skin tends to be thicker and drier.
Is it suitable for eczema-prone skin?
Yes — Urea and Panthenol are both commonly recommended for eczema-prone skin by dermatologists. The formula is dermatologically tested and free from known common irritants for sensitive skin. However, during an active eczema flare with broken or weeping skin, avoid application to those areas until the skin has healed. If in doubt, consult your GP or dermatologist before use.
How quickly will I notice a difference?
Skin will feel noticeably softer and more comfortable from the first use. For rough, thickened areas like cracked heels, meaningful improvement typically shows within 3–5 days of twice-daily application. The Urea gently dissolves the build-up while the Panthenol accelerates skin repair — together they work faster than standard moisturisers on genuinely dry skin.
