Can I use it instead of both moisturiser and SPF?

Yes — the Hyaluronic Acid provides meaningful hydration and the SPF 30 covers daily UV protection, so it replaces both in a simplified morning routine. For dry skin that needs richer moisturisation, apply a lightweight moisturiser first, allow it to absorb, then apply this as the final step. For normal to combination skin, this alone after cleansing is sufficient as a morning base before the rest of your routine or makeup.

Will it leave a white cast on darker skin tones?

The Zinc Oxide in this formula is micronised and blended with a universal tint that adapts to a range of skin tones, which significantly reduces the white cast issue typical of mineral SPFs. On very deep skin tones, a small amount of initial brightening may be visible that blends out within 1–2 minutes of application. Apply using pressing motions rather than dragging to help the tint adapt. For very deep skin tones looking for zero cast, pairing this with a tinted setting powder in your shade can completely eliminate any residual brightness.

Can I apply foundation on top?

Yes — allow 3–5 minutes for the SPF to fully absorb before applying foundation. Applying foundation immediately on top of a wet SPF layer can move the UV filter around and reduce its effectiveness. Once absorbed, the featherlight texture creates a smooth, primed base that makes foundation apply evenly. The tint in this SPF also means you may need less foundation or a lighter coverage on top, as much of the evening effect is already done.

Do I need to reapply it during the day?

For standard indoor use — office work, commuting, general daily activity — a morning application provides adequate protection throughout the day. Reapply every 2 hours when spending extended time outdoors, in direct sun exposure, after swimming or after heavy sweating. Reapplication over makeup is easiest with a tinted SPF setting spray or SPF powder — applying this formula directly over makeup would disrupt the coverage. If outdoors all day, layer an SPF spray over the top of makeup every 2 hours.
