Can I use it on wet or damp skin?
The device works on both dry and slightly damp skin, but dry skin gives the best results. On completely dry feet, the roller exfoliates more efficiently and removes more hardened skin in less time. If you prefer to soak feet first, dry them thoroughly before using the file — damp skin tends to push rather than file.
Which roller head should I use?
Start with the fine-grain head if your skin is only mildly rough — this is also the best choice for ongoing weekly maintenance. Use the coarse-grain head for stubborn, thickened calluses on the heels or ball of the foot. Never use the coarse head on the delicate skin around the toes or top of the foot.
Is it safe for people with diabetes?
People with diabetes often have reduced sensation in their feet, which makes it easier to over-file without realising.
