Red Light Therapy Lamp | 660nm & 850nm Dual Wavelength

£270.00£189.99Save £80.01

A single red light therapy session at a wellness clinic or medispa costs £60–£120. This lamp pays for itself in under three sessions — and then you use it every day, at home, for years. The Dual Wavelength Red Light Therapy Lamp delivers the two most validated LED wavelengths simultaneously: 660nm red light for skin rejuvenation, and 850nm near-infrared for muscle recovery and joint support. CE certified. Full-body panel. The same technology clinics charge £100 a session for. Available with a 1.75m full stand or 1.4m compact stand, in UK, US and EU plug versions.

  • 660nm Red Light (skin level) — penetrates the skin's surface layers to support visibly firmer, smoother-looking skin over time; helps reduce fine lines, uneven tone and dullness; the wavelength most studied for skin rejuvenation in research literature
  • 850nm Near-Infrared (deep tissue) — passes through skin into muscle and connective tissue; supports post-workout recovery, helps ease muscle tension and is used by athletes, physios and rehab clinics for joint and tissue recovery
  • Both run simultaneously — one session delivers both skin-level and deep-tissue benefits; no switching modes, no second treatment needed
  • Full-body panel coverage — large panel treats the face, neck, décolletage and body in a single session without repositioning
  • CE certified — meets European safety standards for therapeutic light devices; professional-specification output at home-use pricing
  • Step 1: Position the lamp 15–30cm from the treatment area with clean, product-free skin
  • For facial skin: 10 minutes at 15–20cm distance, 4–5 times per week
  • For muscle recovery or joint support: 15–20 minutes at 20–30cm distance
  • Eye safety: Do not look directly into the light — use the eye protection provided or keep eyes closed during facial sessions
  • Build up gradually: Start at 10 minutes and increase over the first 2 weeks to full recommended session length
  • Safety notes: CE certified. Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice. Not for use over active cancerous tissue. Consult your GP if on photosensitising medication.
  • Variants available: 1.75m full stand or 1.4m compact stand — UK / US / EU plug options

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between 660nm and 850nm?
660nm (red light) penetrates to approximately 8–10mm depth — reaching the epidermis and upper dermis where skin cell activity, collagen production and surface healing occur. This is the wavelength used for skin rejuvenation: reducing fine lines, improving tone and increasing surface circulation. 850nm (near-infrared) penetrates much deeper — 30–40mm — passing through skin into underlying muscle, fascia and joint tissue. This is used for recovery: reducing inflammation in muscles, supporting joint health and improving deep tissue circulation. Running both simultaneously means one session treats the skin surface and the deeper tissue at the same time.
How close should I stand to the lamp?
15–20cm for the face — closer increases intensity but reduces the treatment area. 20–30cm for body and muscle recovery — the larger distance treats a bigger surface area, which is more important for recovery use. The stands are designed to hold the lamp at these distances when you sit or stand comfortably in front of it. Never press your skin directly against the panel. If you feel warmth that is uncomfortable rather than pleasant, move slightly further back.
When will I notice a difference?
Weeks 1–2: Skin feels warmer and more plump after sessions — this is increased local circulation. Most people notice a subtle improvement in glow and tone. Weeks 3–4: Fine lines around the eyes and forehead begin to look slightly less defined. Skin texture feels smoother. Weeks 6–8: Clearer cumulative improvement in firmness, line depth and tone. Recovery benefits (soreness, stiffness) are typically felt within 24 hours of each session. For skin results, LED therapy is cumulative — frequency and consistency over 6–8 weeks produce the most meaningful changes.
Which stand size should I choose?
The 1.75m full stand suits most adults for full-body standing use — the extra height allows the panel to sit comfortably at face or chest height when standing. The 1.4m compact stand suits seated use (desk, chair, sofa) or smaller spaces where a full-height stand would be impractical. Both deliver identical lamp performance — the choice is purely about where and how you plan to use it.
